Harry Potter star left bloodied

By Andrei Harmsworth

A right mess Rupert is left bloodied compared to his normal boyish self

How the Harry Potter cast grow up fast. First it was Daniel Radcliffe who bared all in controversial West End play Equus.

Now ginger co-star Rupert Grint is toughening up in a new screen role that leaves him bloodied.

The 19-year-old, best know for his role as Ron Weasley in the whimsical films, looks to toughen up in Cherry Bomb, which stars James Nesbitt, Kimberely Nixon and Robert Sheehan.

Filmed in Belfast, Rupert’s character battles Robert’s for the attention of character, Michelle, played by Nixon.

Judging by these snaps, Grint comes off second best after been left battered in the film’s promotional pictures.

But he won’t be left messy for long as Potter fans will see him join forces again with Radcliffe in the next film, Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, out in November.
