Over 1,800 children and their families gathered throughout the day at Coram’s Field in central London for the annual Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Christmas Party.

Winter wonderland

All the children who attended have been treated by the hospital. They were whisked away to a wintry world, and plenty of assorted elf helpers were on hand to make sure they had an extra special day to remember – complete with elves, snow and reindeer!

Festive fun

The parties included a whole host of exciting festive entertainment including music, carols and games.

The special guests were greeted by a red carpet entrance and had the chance to sing along with stars of the West End, dance with fairies and make Christmas crafts.

They could also visit Santa’s Post room, Rudolph’s Art area, sample new Xbox games and decorate cakes.

Meanwhile, Mums and Dads were treated in Mrs Christmas’ Pampering area with hand massages and Godiva chocolates.

Elf butlers raided the Christmas Larder and found plenty of goodies from delicious sandwiches and brownies to fresh Starbucks’ coffee and Lindt chocolates.

Plus – of course – every child had the chance to meet Santa to give him their Christmas wish list and take home some special early Christmas treats and gifts.
